Phone Clarity Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Phone Clarity ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our platform and related services (the "Services"). Phone Clarity provides technology used by businesses to communicate with their customers and employees. Those businesses determine when and to whom communications are sent.

SMS Messaging Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with service providers or subcontractors solely to deliver messaging services or operate and support the Services. SMS opt-in data and consent records will not be sold, rented, or transferred to third parties for their marketing purposes.

1. Information We Collect

  • Contact information: Names, phone numbers, email addresses, and other details provided while using the Services.
  • Communication data: SMS and MMS messages, phone numbers, call data, voicemail, call recordings where enabled, transcripts, timestamps, routing data, delivery status, and related metadata.
  • Account and business data: Account settings, users, locations, roles, routing configuration, and information supplied by connected business systems.
  • Usage and device data: IP addresses, browser and device information, log data, diagnostic events, and interactions with the Services.
  • Consent data: The consent language presented, affirmative action taken, time, source, and related evidence where consent is recorded through the Services.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, support, and improve the Services.
  • Route and deliver voice, SMS, and MMS communications.
  • Display communication history and customer context to authorized users.
  • Produce transcripts, summaries, analytics, and operational reports where enabled.
  • Monitor performance, reliability, fraud, abuse, and security.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate about the Services.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, carrier, and contractual requirements.

We do not use message content or SMS opt-in information for third-party marketing.

3. Messaging and Consent

Businesses using Phone Clarity are responsible for obtaining and maintaining appropriate consent before sending messages or placing or recording calls where required. Message frequency varies based on service use and customer activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Recipients may reply STOP to opt out of SMS or MMS messages and HELP for assistance. Opting out may prevent delivery of communication-dependent features requested from that sender.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information:

  • With telecommunications carriers and infrastructure providers to route and deliver communications.
  • With service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, maintain, and support the Services.
  • With the Phone Clarity business customer whose authorized users manage the relevant communications.
  • To comply with law, court orders, lawful requests, carrier requirements, or regulatory obligations.
  • To protect Phone Clarity, our customers, recipients, and the integrity or security of the Services.
  • In connection with a corporate transaction, subject to appropriate protections and applicable law.

We do not sell personal information or communication content for third-party marketing.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, satisfy customer configuration and retention choices, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by information type and enabled service.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. No system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your relationship with Phone Clarity and applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. Requests involving information controlled by a business using Phone Clarity may be directed to that business. We may need to verify identity and may retain information where legally or operationally required.

SMS recipients may opt out by replying STOP and request assistance by replying HELP.

8. Third-Party Services and Networks

The Services rely on third-party telecommunications carriers, infrastructure providers, artificial-intelligence providers where enabled, and connected business systems. These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

9. Children

The Services are designed for business communications and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children through the public website.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes become effective when posted unless a later date is stated.
